You become like five of the people you spend most of your time with. What will determine where you will be five years from now are: the books you read, the places you go to and the people you associate with. Spend time with quality people, you can’t asoociate with extra ordinary people and you remain ordinary. Build quality relationships relationships with people that share your values and mindset.
Like attracts like
You tend to attrack people of the same Minds as you. So, keep working on yourself, make it a daily priority to become a person of character.
The scriptures in psalm 1:1 says ‘Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat Of the scornful.’
Proverbs 13:20 says “He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.”
Surround yourself with surbodinates
Surround yourself with your mates.
Surround yourself with mentors.
You have one or two things to learn from people in each category.
No man is an island, no one knows it all, so you need to be humble, willing and patient to learn from people. If you can’t meet your mentors physically, read their books, then you can begin to see things the way they do.
Be teachable!
Walk with the right people and things will go right for you.
